M26 Pershings Unboxed

Whilst at Battlefront UK on Wednesday (collecting my Arnhem Manor House) I picked up two boxes of the new plastic M26 Pershings, so I can have a full platoon of 5, and a T26E4 Super Pershing.

Tigers!

I also needed Tigers for my PAA500 force i took to Art of War. Lots of Tigers, i own 7 LW Tigers, so i painted them all at once.

King Tigers

For the Art of War LW tournament, i decided to take Panzer Ausbildungs Abteilung 500 from Desperate Measures, and for that i needed to paint some big cats, i started with 3 King Tigers:

This was my attempt at 'Desperate', with replacement parts in the red oxide primer.

These two are more traditional, and as i had both sets of turrets, i've painted both sets.

Chaffees

National League is next weekend, and i needed some Chaffees for my list. I own ten, but none of them were painted. So instead of painting the four i'm taking with me, i painted them all.

Jeep

Whilst out putting petrol in my own car, I encountered this specimen, a 'lend lease' 1942 Willys Jeep. The owner informed me that it landed with the British at Anzio, and that it was restored to be used in the film 'A Bridge Too Far'. Sadly, after some quick googling when I got home, it is a toy that is a bit too pricey for me. I'll stick to the 15mm ones (for now).
